On 19 March, we spoke with Vassileia Zervou on ERT’s First Program about R.E.A.L. Science, our mission, and the incredible dream team of our volunteers. The First Program of ERT gave us the joy and honor of offering us a platform, where our founder, Eleni Sinopoulou, presented R.E.A.L. Science and its goals.

“My dream was for all of us living abroad to use our knowledge to give Greek students the chance to see a different perspective if they want to study the sciences,” Eleni said, describing the core of R.E.A.L. Science’s work.
“We want to give children as many options as possible… Children have so many questions, as long as you give them the opportunity to ask!” she added. “We are waiting to receive certification from the Ministry of Education and, once that happens, we hope to begin—ideally in September.”

We closed the conversation with the hope of meeting again in person when circumstances allow, and to share updates on the progress of R.E.A.L. Science.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our volunteer Nancy Megremi for preparing and sharing this post.
