R.E.A.L. Science began as an idea by Eleni Sinopoulou (founder and neuroscientist) around 2018. The idea was simple: to find a way to harness the tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience held by highly trained Greeks in the sciences — both in Greece and across the world.

The idea became reality in 2019, when Eleni connected with the wonderful organizers of the initiative “Bridges of Knowledge and Cooperation” and had the courage to share her vision with them. There, the idea found the support, enthusiasm, and warm welcome it needed.

Since then, R.E.A.L. Science has grown every single day, giving thousands of students across Greece the opportunity to connect with leading scientists from around the globe.
