Date: February 18, 2026
The R.E.A.L. Compass – School Edition was implemented this year for the second consecutive time, continuing an initiative designed to bring science, inspiration, and career guidance closer to students across Greece. This year’s event took place at the Junior High School of Nea Lampsakos in Chalkida, a school located in a remote area, serving students with limited access to extracurricular opportunities. In February 2026, approximately 70 students participated enthusiastically, showing curiosity, engagement, and a genuine desire to explore new paths of knowledge.

The team’s presentations covered an impressively wide range of topics—neuroscience, education, astrobiology, geology, and the History of Science. Through examples, discussions, and interactive moments, students were introduced to diverse scientific fields, learned how these fields connect to everyday life, and found inspiration for their future academic and professional choices.
As part of the visit, a CV‑building workshop was also held with the 9th‑grade students. They learned how to present their skills, interests, and experiences in a structured way. This workshop served as an important first step toward career awareness and self‑presentation—skills that will accompany them in every future endeavor.
