Science carried out <strong>seven activities<\/strong> across many regions of Greece.<\/p>\n<p>We began the month at the <strong>1st General Lyceum of Kozani<\/strong>, where we were delighted to deliver <strong>two online sessions<\/strong>, tailored to the students\u2019 chosen academic fields.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>first session<\/strong>, held on <strong>Friday, February 16<\/strong>, was for students of the <strong>2nd and 3rd scientific fields<\/strong>, with presentations by volunteers <strong>Olga Biskou<\/strong>, <strong>Konstantinos Kakosimos<\/strong>, and <strong>Konstantinos Voutyras<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>second session<\/strong>, on <strong>February 23<\/strong>, focused on the <strong>1st and 4th scientific fields<\/strong>, with volunteers <strong>Chara Triantafyllidou<\/strong>, <strong>Katerina Bompolaki<\/strong>, and <strong>Christos Afentoulis<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We warmly thank <strong>Ms. Ourania Theodoridou<\/strong> and <strong>Ms. Argyro Lamprou<\/strong> for their invitation, excellent organization, and seamless collaboration. We spoke to 9th\u2011grade students about post\u2011junior\u2011high pathways, the world of mathematics, and agricultural sciences. Our volunteers were <strong>Viktoria Taroudaki<\/strong>, <strong>Evangelia Iakovaki<\/strong>, and <strong>Dimitra Kyrgiafini<\/strong>. We thank the students for listening so attentively and for the thoughtful questions they shared.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/realscience.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b113-768x396.jpg\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/realscience.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b113-768x396.jpg 768w, https:\/\/realscience.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b113-300x155.jpg 300w, https:\/\/realscience.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b113-1024x529.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/realscience.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/\u0395\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc\u03bd\u03b113.jpg 1269w\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"396\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Next, we visited a school where one of our own volunteers, <strong>Elena Arvaniti<\/strong>, teaches and wished to introduce her students to a wide range of scientific fields. For this reason, the activity lasted <strong>two full hours<\/strong>, giving students the chance to explore multiple specialties and continue asking questions even after school hours had ended. Volunteers included <strong>Georgios Athanasopoulos<\/strong>, <strong>Anthi Paschalidou<\/strong>, <strong>Olga Biskou<\/strong>, <strong>Despina Demenega<\/strong>, and <strong>Angelos Karanikolas<\/strong>. This time, we joined them online for a remote session. Volunteers <strong>Konstantina Rossi<\/strong>, <strong>Panagiotis Adam<\/strong>, and <strong>Dimitrios Theodosopoulos<\/strong> presented new specialties selected by the students themselves. The activity was a great success.
