In March, we had the joy of hosting the 3rd R.E.A.L. Science Student Conference<\/strong>, R.E.A.L. COMPASS<\/strong>, on March 30 and 31<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

R.E.A.L. COMPASS is a conference dedicated entirely to students. Our goal is to inform and empower as many young people as possible. Throughout the conference, students meet young, active, and experienced scientists and professionals from a wide range of fields. Speakers share insights about their studies, their profession, and their personal academic and career journeys.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The conference also includes a special session dedicated to the Greek university application system (\u039c\u03b7\u03c7\u03b1\u03bd\u03bf\u03b3\u03c1\u03b1\u03c6\u03b9\u03ba\u03cc)<\/strong>, designed to help students understand the available academic fields, how to complete their application, the newest university programs in Greece, and the professional rights associated with each degree.<\/p>\n

A total of 20 volunteers and invited speakers<\/strong> participated, completing a rich and inspiring two\u2011day program.<\/p>\n

In total, 139 students<\/strong> attended the sessions that interested them and benefited from this volunteer\u2011driven initiative.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

To all our beloved volunteers\u2014members of the R.E.A.L. Science family\u2014thank you<\/strong> for your participation and dedication.<\/p>\n

Student Feedback<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Here are some of the comments we received at the end of the conference:<\/p>\n

\u201cAll the speakers were excellent and the information was invaluable! I think it would be very helpful to have events like this more often. Personally, I learned a lot and all my questions were answered!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA great opportunity for students to connect with and listen to people who have experience in fields they may be interested in. The session on the university application was extremely useful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cVery interesting and informative through the speakers\u2019 personal experiences. Thank you very much!\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cA very informative program! I gained a lot and felt inspired by the professionals. I\u2019m already looking forward to next year\u2019s conference\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
